Billeting a Pilgrim
At times we are contacted by pilgrims who would like to walk the Way of the Magi route at a time of year that is different to the Epiphany Pilgrimage. In these instances, it is not possible for pilgrims to stay at the Blue Mountains parishes and so instead they are hosted at the homes of local parishioners and Blue Mountains residents.

Those who open their homes for billeting are provided with financial assistance to cover food and other associated costs.
If you are willing to welcome one or more pilgrims into your home, please complete the form below and we will be in touch.
Hosts are required to:
- be friendly and welcoming!
- pick the pilgrim up from the local parish church in the afternoon / evening as arranged
- provide dinner for the pilgrim in the evening
- provide shower facilities for the pilgrim
- provide a room for sleeping that is away from all other family members (note that whilst a bed is always welcome, it is not required as pilgrims bring their own bedding)
- provide breakfast in the morning
- provide a packed morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the pilgrim's next day of walking
- drop the pilgrim back to the local parish in the morning as arranged
- complete an induction process including a police check, interview and home visit
