Registration for the 2026 Season of Creation Camping Trip has now opened.
Registration will be available until Sunday September 20, 2026 or until the camping trip reaches capacity.

The Season of Creation is an ecumenical celebration of the worldwide Christian community that begins on 1 September (the Day of Prayer for Creation) and concludes 4 October (the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi). It is a time to join with Christians around the world to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment.

Season of Creation Camping Trip 2026

Friday, October 2 - Monday, October 5, 2026

The Season of Creation Camping Trip is an opportunity to take a break from the busyness of life to enjoy a simple few days away to delight in the gift of creation and give glory to our Creator. It is a time to relax with friends, family and other members of the faith community.

The 2026 Season of Creation theme is 'Immersion in Living Water' which is inspired by Ezekiel 47 32: 9, 12. The scriptural focus for the Season of Creation Camping Trip is taken from the first verse of this passage:

'Where the river flows, everything will live.' (Ez 47: 9)

The annual World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation will offer individual believers and communities a fitting opportunity to reaffirm their personal vocation to be stewards of creation, to thank God for the wonderful handiwork which He has entrusted to our care, and to implore His help for the protection of creation as well as His pardon for the sins committed against the world in which we live. Friday, October 2 - Monday, October 5, 2026

The program of scheduled activities will be emailed to registered campers closer to the weekend. Between activities there is time to relax around the camp fire, enjoy a bushwalk or read a good book!

Friday, October 2:

Arrive from 3 pm to set up your and settle in
Gathering Prayer

Saturday, October 3

Morning Prayer and Lectio Divina (separate children's prayer session)
Marian Pilgrimage Walk
Games afternoon
Evening Adoration (separate children's prayer session)

Sunday, October 4

Morning Prayer and Guest Speaker (separate children's prayer session)
Sunday Mass
Long table shared meal (and the NRL Grand Final for those who can't miss the game!)

Monday, October 6:

Relaxed and informal day of fellowship
All campers to be off-site by 1 pm

FACILITIES + INCLUSIONS

Campsite (unpowered): tents, campervans, camper trailers etc. are all welcome. Dormitory accommodation is available for those unable to camp due to age / health reasons.
Toilets and limited shower facilities

Limited kitchen facilities including gas BBQs
Chapel
Walking tracks
Grassed area for games and sport
Optional involvement in various activities

EXCLUSIONS

Cookware, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cutlery etc. are NOT available for use at the site. Please ensure you bring your own.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED on the Wooglemai site.

Individual Campers: $50
Camping Couples: $90
Family Camping Group 1 (1 adult + children): $90
Family Camping Group 2 (max 2 adults + children): $130
