Season of Creation Camping Trip 2023

Friday, September 29 - Monday, October 2, 2023
The Season of Creation begins on 1 September (the Day of Prayer for Creation) and concludes 4 October (the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi). It is a time to join with Christians around the world to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment.
The 2023 Season of Creation theme is taken from the Prophet Amos (5: 24):
"But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"

The Season of Creation Camping Trip is an opportunity to take a break from the busyness of life to enjoy a simple few days away to delight in the gift of creation and give glory to our Creator. It is a time to relax with friends, family and other members of the faith community.

The annual World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation will offer individual believers and communities a fitting opportunity to reaffirm their personal vocation to be stewards of creation, to thank God for the wonderful handiwork which He has entrusted to our care, and to implore His help for the protection of creation as well as His pardon for the sins committed against the world in which we live. (Pope Francis, 2015)
